Geishouse

Geishouse is a small village in the Haut-Rhin department of Alsace, nestled on the lower slopes of the Vosges mountains, not far from the Grand Ballon, the range's highest peak. The village enjoys an unspoilt natural setting amid fir forests, high-altitude pastures and green valleys, typical of the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park. Its location makes it a popular starting point for hiking and mountain biking, particularly towards the Grand Ballon or the nearby Markstein resort, known for downhill and cross-country skiing in winter.
