Guenrouet

Guenrouet is a commune in the Loire-Atlantique department, on the edge of the Brière Regional Nature Park in western France. Crossed by the Nantes-Brest canal and the River Isac, it offers a green setting well suited to outdoor pursuits, including walking, cycling along the towpaths, and canoeing on the canal. The Bellion harbour serves as a base for river boating and waterside strolls. The nearby Gâvre forest, one of the region's notable woodland areas, also provides opportunities for countryside excursions. The village retains a typically rural character, set between bocage farmland and the wetlands associated with the Brière marshes.
