St joachim

Saint-Joachim is a village in the Loire-Atlantique department, set at the heart of the Brière Regional Nature Park, not far from Saint-Nazaire and La Baule. A notable geographical feature is that the commune is made up of several islands surrounded by marshland, including the well-known Île de Fédrun, recognised for its traditional thatched cottages with carefully maintained reed roofs.
