St andre des eaux

Saint-André-des-Eaux is a commune in the Loire-Atlantique department, located close to La Baule-Escoublac and Guérande in north-western France. It benefits from a favourable position on the edge of the Brière Regional Natural Park, a vast marshland area crossed by canals and known for its traditional thatched cottages and flat-bottomed boat trips. The commune therefore serves as a convenient base for exploring both the fine sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast, just a few kilometres away, and the distinctive landscapes of the Brière marshes. The Guérande salt marshes, renowned for their traditional salt production, are also within easy reach and draw visitors keen on walks and local produce. The surroundings remain fairly quiet and residential, suited to a relaxed stay in Loire-Atlantique. The oceanic climate, with mild summers and temperate winters, supports outdoor activities for much of the year.
