La haie fouassiere

La Haie-Fouassière is a village in the Nantes vineyard area, located in the Loire-Atlantique department a few kilometres south-east of Nantes, on the banks of the Sèvre Nantaise river. It lies at the heart of the Muscadet Sèvre et Maine appellation, one of the region's most renowned wine-producing areas, where numerous estates offer tastings and cellar tours. The rolling landscape, dotted with vineyards, makes for pleasant walks and cycling routes, particularly along the Sèvre Nantaise and its tributaries. The village enjoys a temperate oceanic climate, with mild summers and gentle winters typical of the Nantes wine country. Its location provides easy access to Nantes, a lively city with museums, shopping and a rich cultural scene, as well as to nearby wine towns such as Vallet or Clisson, known for its Italian-inspired architecture.
