Le loroux bottereau

Le Loroux-Bottereau is a village in the Nantes vineyard region, located in the Loire-Atlantique département, about twenty kilometres south-east of Nantes, in Muscadet wine country. This wine-growing area lies at the heart of the Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine appellation, well known for its dry white wines made from the Melon de Bourgogne grape. The village is set amid gently rolling hills covered in vineyards, crossed by walking trails that lead through the surrounding wine estates. The nearby Loire and Sèvre Nantaise rivers provide a pleasant natural setting for riverside walks and birdwatching.
