Vaux saules

Vaux-Saules is a small rural village in the Côte-d'Or department, in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of eastern France, located in the Châtillonnais area to the north of the department. This gently rolling landscape, shaped by limestone plateaux and wooded valleys, offers a peaceful, green setting well suited to countryside holidays. The village lies close to Châtillon-sur-Seine, a historic town known for its heritage and museum housing the famous Vix vase, as well as the source of the River Seine, a notable landmark in the Châtillonnais. The area also provides easy access to Alise-Sainte-Reine and the archaeological site of Alésia, linked to Gallo-Roman history.
