Vignoles

Vignoles is a small wine-growing village in the Côte-d'Or department, located just a few kilometres north-east of Beaune, at the heart of the Côte de Beaune vineyards in Burgundy. The village forms part of the renowned Burgundy climats, inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2015, and its terroir is linked to the Côte de Beaune appellation. The surroundings are distinctly rural, dominated by rolling vine-covered hillsides, making it an ideal setting for walks through the vineyards and visits to family-run wine cellars. Its close proximity to Beaune provides easy access to the historic town centre, the Hôtel-Dieu and its famous Hospices, as well as numerous wine merchants and tastings celebrated worldwide. The temperate continental climate, with warm, dry summers, suits both summer holidays and the autumn grape harvest that shapes local life. Vignoles offers a peaceful base from which to explore Burgundy's wine route, combining unspoilt vineyard landscapes with regional culinary heritage, while remaining conveniently close to the amenities of nearby Beaune.
