Marmagne

Marmagne is a small town in the Côte-d'Or department, in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, close to Montbard. It is particularly known for hosting the Abbey of Fontenay within its boundaries, a former Cistercian abbey founded in the 12th century and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognised as one of the best-preserved monastic complexes in Europe.
