Ladoix serrigny

Ladoix-Serrigny is a wine-growing village in the Côte-d'Or department of Burgundy, located a few kilometres north of Beaune, along the route linking the Côte de Nuits to the Côte de Beaune. The village gives its name to the Ladoix appellation, known for its red and white wines, and lies close to the Corton hill, famous for its grand cru vineyards. The landscape is dominated by rolling vine-covered slopes, ideal for walks and visits to local wine estates, with plenty of opportunities for tastings at nearby producers. Thanks to its location, Ladoix-Serrigny makes a convenient base for exploring Beaune, with its historic Hospices and medieval heritage, as well as neighbouring villages on the Burgundy wine route such as Aloxe-Corton and Pernand-Vergelesses. The climate is continental, with warm, dry summers well suited to viticulture. The commune is easily accessible via the A6 motorway and Beaune's TGV railway station, making it a practical starting point for discovering the wine-growing heart of Burgundy while enjoying a peaceful rural setting.
