Corcelles les citeaux

Corcelles-lès-Cîteaux is a rural commune in the Côte-d'Or department, in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, some fifteen kilometres south-east of Dijon. The village lies within an agricultural plain, close to the Abbey of Cîteaux, the birthplace of the Cistercian order founded in 1098, whose religious and architectural legacy shapes much of the surrounding area. The setting is quiet, combining farmland and woodland, ideal for walks and for discovering rural Burgundian heritage. Its location provides easy access to the renowned vineyards of the Côte de Nuits, including Nuits-Saint-Georges and Vougeot, celebrated for their grand cru wines. Dijon, just a short drive away, offers a listed historic centre, museums and a strong culinary tradition. The climate is semi-continental, with warm summers and cool winters, typical of Burgundy.
