Annay sur serein

Annay-sur-Serein is a small village in the Yonne department, in Burgundy, tucked away in the Serein valley just a few kilometres from Noyers-sur-Serein, a medieval town listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France. The village retains a typical rural character for this part of Burgundy, with limestone houses set amid a landscape of hedgerows and woodland. The surrounding countryside is gently rolling and crossed by the Serein river, making it well suited to walking and fishing. The Chablis vineyards, internationally renowned for their white wines, lie nearby, making the area a popular stop for wine tourism.
