Pacy sur armancon

Pacy-sur-Armançon is a small rural commune in the Yonne department, within the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, set along the Armançon river and bordered by the Canal de Bourgogne. The village lies within a gently rolling landscape typical of this part of Burgundy, surrounded by meadows, farmland and woodland, close to the town of Tonnerre and not far from the Château d'Ancy-le-Franc, one of the region's notable Renaissance residences. The Canal de Bourgogne, which follows the Armançon valley, provides a pleasant setting for walking, cycling or boating, popular pursuits among those drawn to gentle countryside tourism. The area is also known for its vineyards, particularly around Tonnerre and Chablis, as well as for its architectural heritage of limestone villages and rural churches.
