Montigny aux amognes

Montigny-aux-Amognes is a rural village in the Nièvre department, in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, set within the natural area known as the Amognes, a few kilometres south of Nevers. The landscape is typical of the Nivernais bocage countryside, featuring pastures used for cattle farming, particularly the Charolais breed, interspersed with woodland and small streams.
