Alluy

Alluy is a small rural village in the Nièvre department, in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, near Château-Chinon and on the edge of the Morvan Regional Nature Park. The area is characterised by rolling hills, woodland and small lakes, offering a peaceful, green setting well suited to countryside stays. The Nivernais region is known for its rural heritage, Romanesque churches and traditional stone farmhouses, as well as for Charolais cattle farming, which shapes the surrounding agricultural landscape. The climate is semi-continental, with mild summers and cooler winters typical of inland France. The surrounding countryside is ideal for walking and cycling, exploring small, authentic villages, and fishing in the numerous lakes of the Morvan.
