Vada

Vada is a coastal locality in Tuscany, part of the municipality of Rosignano Marittimo in the province of Livorno. It lies along the Costa degli Etruschi, a stretch of Tyrrhenian coastline known for its fine sandy beaches and shallow waters, popular with families. The resort is particularly noted for the Spiaggia Bianca, a pale-sand beach coloured by natural gypsum deposits, which creates a striking contrast with the turquoise sea. The surrounding countryside combines pine woods, protected dune areas and small farms typical of the Tuscan hinterland. Vada has a relaxed seaside atmosphere, with beach clubs, a handful of local shops and a quiet pace of life outside the busy summer months.
