Bruniquel

Bruniquel is a medieval village in the Tarn-et-Garonne department, listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France, perched on a rocky spur overlooking the Aveyron gorges. The site is dominated by its two adjoining châteaux, the Château Vieux and Château Jeune, dating back to the Middle Ages, offering remarkable views over the valley. Cobbled lanes, timber-framed houses and remnants of ancient ramparts reflect its rich historical past. The village notably served as a filming location for the French film "Le Vieux Fusil".
