La rouquette

La Rouquette is a small rural commune in the Aveyron department, in the Occitanie region, located close to Villefranche-de-Rouergue, a medieval bastide town noted for its architectural heritage. The village lies within a typically rolling Rouergue landscape of hedgerows, farmland and small woodlands, offering a peaceful setting well suited to countryside breaks. The surrounding area has a strong agricultural and culinary tradition, with local produce such as Roquefort cheese, Aveyron charcuterie and farm goods sold at nearby markets.
