Saint-Juery is a town in the Tarn department, in the Occitanie region, located just a few kilometres from Albi, a UNESCO World Heritage city renowned for its Sainte-Cécile Cathedral and Toulouse-Lautrec Museum. The town is crossed by the River Tarn, which has shaped its industrial past, particularly around the Saut de Sabo site, a former hydroelectric facility featuring a landscaped waterfall, now a pleasant spot for riverside walks along marked paths. Saint-Juery's metallurgical heritage remains visible in several converted industrial buildings. Its close proximity to Albi means visitors can enjoy the shops, restaurants and cultural events of the prefecture while staying in a quieter, greener setting.
