Torre delle Stelle

Torre delle Stelle is a coastal locality in south-eastern Sardinia, part of the municipality of Maracalagonis in the province of South Sardinia, close to Solanas and around thirty kilometres from Cagliari. This small residential area, made up mainly of villas and holiday homes, stretches along a granite coastline typical of the region, alternating between rocky coves and clear-sand beaches with turquoise waters. The setting remains quiet and largely unspoilt, valued for the tranquillity it offers away from the main tourist hubs. Mediterranean scrubland and pine trees accompany the rugged terrain that slopes down to the sea. The area enjoys a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers, ideal for swimming and water sports such as diving and snorkelling, thanks to the clarity of the water. Nearby villages, including Solanas and, a little further afield, Villasimius, provide restaurants and local shops. Torre delle Stelle therefore serves as a good base for exploring Sardinia's south-eastern coast, combining unspoilt nature with easy sea access, while remaining within reach of Cagliari for urban or cultural needs.
