Vesime

Vesime is a small municipality in Piedmont, located in the province of Asti, at the heart of the Alta Langa area. This hilly territory is characterised by vineyard-covered landscapes typical of the Langhe region, which holds UNESCO World Heritage status for its wine-growing tradition. The area is known for producing wines such as Moscato and Dolcetto, as well as for its hazelnut cultivation, a key ingredient in Piedmontese cuisine. Autumn is particularly notable here for white truffle hunting, a renowned local speciality. The village retains an authentic rural character, away from major tourist flows, offering a peaceful setting well suited to countryside stays. The surrounding area is ideal for walking and discovering small hilltop villages, as well as visiting vineyard estates for tastings of local produce. The spa town of Acqui Terme, known for its thermal springs, lies within easy reach, as does Asti, celebrated for its medieval heritage and sparkling wines.
