Cortiglione

Cortiglione is a small village in Piedmont, in the province of Asti, at the heart of Monferrato, a hilly wine region listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The landscape is typical of this part of northern Italy, with terraced vineyards, stone hamlets and sweeping views over the surrounding hills. The village lies close to better-known towns such as Nizza Monferrato and Canelli, known for their historic sparkling wine cellars and long-established wine merchants.
