Castagnole Lanze

Castagnole Lanze is a town in Piedmont, in the province of Asti, set amid the rolling hills of the Langhe and Monferrato region, an area recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its vine-covered landscapes. The village sits on a hilltop, offering wide views over the surrounding vineyards, planted mainly with Moscato and Barbera grapes, both emblematic of local wine production. The town's economy remains closely tied to viticulture and agriculture, with numerous family-run estates open for tastings and visits. The historic centre retains typical Piedmontese architecture, with narrow lanes and stone houses.
