Casalborgone

Casalborgone is a small municipality in Piedmont, in the province of Turin, set among the hills bordering the right bank of the River Po, not far from Chivasso. The village sits within a typically rural Piedmontese landscape, characterised by vine-covered slopes where grape varieties such as Freisa and Barbera, both emblematic of the region, are grown. The atmosphere is quiet and agricultural, well away from urban bustle, making it a pleasant base for exploring the Piedmontese countryside at a relaxed pace. Turin lies around thirty kilometres away, allowing for easy day trips to the regional capital and its museums, while offering more peaceful accommodation in return.
