Vecchiano

Vecchiano is a coastal municipality in the province of Pisa, Tuscany, stretching from its main village down to the seaside hamlet of Marina di Vecchiano, known for its sandy beaches backed by pine woods. The area lies within the Migliarino San Rossore Massaciuccoli Nature Park, a large protected reserve ideal for walking or cycling, wildlife spotting, and exploring typical Tuscan coastal vegetation. Inland, the landscape retains a rural character, with market gardens and small farms. Pisa is only around twenty minutes away, making it easy to visit the famous Leaning Tower and Piazza dei Miracoli, while the walled city of Lucca is also within easy reach. The Mediterranean climate, with warm summers and mild winters, makes the area popular for seaside holidays between June and September.
