Ponte di Legno

Ponte di Legno is a mountain resort located in Lombardy, in the province of Brescia, at the heart of the Camonica Valley, close to the Tonale Pass and the Adamello massif. Sitting at around 1,250 metres above sea level, the town is a popular base for alpine and ski touring in winter, with a ski area linked to the Tonale Pass and the Presena Glacier, well known for allowing skiing well into early summer. The run connecting the Tonale Pass to Ponte di Legno is one of the area's most notable long descents. In summer, the surrounding region draws hikers and mountain bikers thanks to the trails of the Adamello Nature Park and the wider alpine scenery. The village centre retains traditional mountain architecture, with pedestrian streets lined with shops, cafés and restaurants serving local Alpine and Lombard cuisine. The climate is typically alpine, with cold, snowy winters and mild summers, making it a year-round destination for those seeking outdoor activities and mountain scenery.
