Bee

Bee is a small municipality in Piedmont, within the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, set on the hillsides overlooking Lake Maggiore and Lake Mergozzo. This traditional village in the Val Grande area sits within a well-preserved natural setting of chestnut woods and old terraced slopes, offering open views over the waters of Lake Maggiore below. Its proximity to Verbania, the provincial capital, provides easy access to shops, transport links and the lively lakeside promenades during the season. The climate, softened by the presence of the lakes, brings mild summers and comparatively gentle winters for an alpine region. The surrounding area offers plenty of walking opportunities, particularly towards the Val Grande National Park, one of the largest wilderness areas in Western Europe.
