Trévou-Tréguignec

Trévou-Tréguignec is a coastal commune in the Côtes-d'Armor department of Brittany, set along the Pink Granite Coast, close to Perros-Guirec and Trégastel. The village stretches along an indented shoreline that alternates fine sandy beaches, rocky coves and windswept headlands. The coastal footpath (GR34) runs along the shore, offering views of the distinctive pink granite formations typical of this part of the Trégor region, as well as sightings of the Sept-Îles archipelago, a bird reserve known for its colonies of seabirds. The temperate oceanic climate, with mild summers and gentle winters, makes the area well suited to seaside stays and outdoor pursuits such as coastal walking, shore fishing and swimming. The village itself remains largely residential and quiet, valued more for its unspoilt natural surroundings than for a busy tourist scene. The neighbouring towns of Perros-Guirec and Trégastel, livelier by comparison, provide shops, restaurants and further entertainment. Trévou-Tréguignec thus offers a peaceful base from which to explore the Pink Granite Coast and the northern Trégor coastline.
