Sulden

Sulden (Solda) is a mountain village in South Tyrol, Italy, located in the Val Venosta valley at the foot of the Ortles massif, the region's highest peak at 3,905 metres. Part of the municipality of Stelvio and lying within the Stelvio National Park, this alpine resort sits at roughly 1,900 metres and serves as a popular base for mountaineering, with several mountain huts and routes leading up towards the Ortles glacier. In winter, the ski area caters to various skill levels and even offers glacier skiing during shoulder seasons, supported by cable cars serving the higher slopes.
