Saubion

Saubion is a small village in the southern Landes region of south-western France, just a few kilometres from the seaside resorts of Capbreton and Hossegor. The village enjoys a wooded setting typical of the Landes, nestled between pine forest and the Bourret valley, offering a peaceful, green environment ideal for relaxation. Its location makes it easy to reach the Atlantic coast and its long sandy beaches, popular for surfing, as well as the marina at Capbreton. The area is also known for its network of cycle paths running through the Landes forest, well suited to leisurely rides between neighbouring villages and the coastline. The renowned golf courses of Hossegor and Seignosse are close by, along with local markets showcasing regional produce such as Landes duck and sand-grown asparagus. The temperate oceanic climate makes the area pleasant for much of the year. Saubion therefore serves as a quiet base from which to explore the Landes coast while enjoying an unspoilt natural setting, away from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding seaside resorts.
