Salernes

Salernes is a town in the Var department, located in the Provençal hinterland between Draguignan and the Gorges du Verdon, at the heart of the Bresque valley. The village is historically known for its production of terracotta floor tiles, the famous tomettes, a craft tradition dating back to the 19th century thanks to local clay deposits.
