Casal Borsetti

Casal Borsetti is a small seaside resort on the Adriatic coast, part of the municipality of Ravenna in Emilia-Romagna. Bordered by a pine wood that separates it from the beach, it offers a quieter, more family-oriented atmosphere than busier resorts further along the coast such as Milano Marittima or Riccione. The fine sandy beach, lined with several beach clubs, is well suited to families with children. The area lies close to the Po Delta Regional Park, a wetland landscape of valli ideal for birdwatching and cycling along coastal paths. Local fishing traditions are reflected in the seafood specialities served at nearby restaurants, drawing on the catch from the Adriatic. The historic city of Ravenna, renowned for its Byzantine mosaics and UNESCO World Heritage status, lies around twenty kilometres away, as does Comacchio with its distinctive canals. The warm, sunny summer climate favours outdoor pursuits, while the surrounding countryside provides a relatively unspoilt setting, appreciated for its calm compared with the more heavily touristed stretches of the Romagna coastline.
