Pontcirq

Pontcirq is a small rural commune in the Lot department, in the Occitanie region of southern France, located just a few kilometres from Cahors, the local prefecture known for its Valentré Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and its renowned Cahors AOC vineyards producing full-bodied red wines from the Malbec grape. The village sits within the typical Quercy landscape of limestone plateaux (causses), valleys carved by the River Lot, and small stone-built hamlets. The area enjoys a temperate climate with southern influences, featuring warm, dry summers ideal for outdoor activities.
