Ravi

Ravi is a small hamlet within the municipality of Gavorrano, in the province of Grosseto, at the heart of the Tuscan Maremme. The area is characterised by rolling hills, olive groves and vineyards, typical of this southern part of Tuscany. The Maremme region is well known for its agricultural and pastoral traditions, including cattle farming and the production of wine, olive oil and local farm produce. The Tyrrhenian coast, with its beaches and coves, lies within a reasonable distance, making it easy to combine a countryside stay with seaside excursions. The surrounding area offers opportunities for walking and cycling through unspoilt countryside, along with the chance to explore medieval villages typical of the Grosseto province. The Mediterranean climate, with warm, dry summers and mild winters, encourages outdoor activities for much of the year. Ravi therefore serves as a quiet base for exploring the Tuscan Maremme, combining rural heritage, local gastronomy and nature, away from the busier tourist trails of Tuscany's major art cities.
