Perros Guirec

Perros-Guirec is a seaside resort in the Trégor area of the Côtes-d'Armor, best known for the Pink Granite Coast. The Ploumanac'h site, with its pink granite rocks shaped by erosion and its lighthouse, is the town's main attraction. The customs officers' path (GR34) runs along the coastline, revealing a mineral landscape unique in Europe, combining moorland, coves and rocky outcrops. Trestraou beach, a long stretch of fine sand, hosts water sports and looks out towards the Sept-Îles archipelago, a bird sanctuary reachable by boat from the harbour, home to puffins and gannets. The town has a casino, a thalassotherapy centre and the usual amenities of a Breton seaside resort. The mild oceanic climate, with gentle summers, draws visitors during the warmer months. Perros-Guirec lies close to Trégastel and Lannion, within a rural and coastal setting typical of the Armor region. Fishing, sailing and coastal walking are among the common activities enjoyed along this stretch of the Breton shoreline.
