Mouans-Sartoux

Mouans-Sartoux is a town in the Alpes-Maritimes department, located between Cannes and Grasse on the French Riviera. It is particularly known for the Espace de l'Art Concret, a contemporary art centre housed in the village's château, which hosts exhibitions of concrete art and features a sculpture garden open to the public. The town has also gained recognition for its municipal organic farm, run by the local authority to supply school canteens, an initiative that brought Mouans-Sartoux national attention for its approach to sustainable food. The surrounding area retains a green, natural character, with open spaces and walking paths around the village. Its location makes it a convenient base for exploring Grasse, the perfume-making capital, as well as Cannes and its beaches, or the hilltop village of Mougins nearby. The Mediterranean climate, mild for much of the year, is well suited to outdoor activities. The village centre keeps a Provençal feel, with narrow streets and local shops, offering a quiet setting close to the major tourist sites of the Riviera coastline.
