Istia d'Ombrone

Istia d'Ombrone is a small medieval hamlet perched on a hill overlooking the Ombrone river, just a few kilometres from the centre of Grosseto, in the heart of the Tuscan Maremme. The village retains parts of its old fortified walls and an ancient gateway, remnants of its defensive past.
