Lalbenque

Lalbenque is a village in the Lot department, set on the limestone plateau known as the causse, around twenty kilometres south of Cahors. It is best known for its truffle market, held weekly during the winter season, which draws producers and enthusiasts from across the region and makes the village one of the reference points for black truffle trading in south-west France.
