Santa Marinella

Santa Marinella is a small coastal town in Lazio, on the Tyrrhenian coast between Rome and Civitavecchia, within the Province of Rome. Known for its fine sandy beaches and shallow waters, it mainly appeals to families seeking a relaxed seaside holiday within easy reach of the capital. The town retains traces of its ancient past, including the remains of the Roman villa of Punicum and the Odescalchi Castle, which overlooks the seafront and reflects the area's medieval history.
