El Catllar

El Catllar is a small municipality in the province of Tarragona, Catalonia, located in the Tarragonès comarca, a short distance from the Gaià river. The village is overlooked by its medieval castle, the Castell del Catllar, which reflects the area's rich historical heritage and serves as a notable architectural landmark. The surroundings are typically rural and Mediterranean, with hillsides covered in vineyards belonging to the Tarragona wine appellation, alongside olive groves and scrubland.
