Folelli

Folelli is a coastal village within the commune of Penta-di-Casinca, in Haute-Corse, on Corsica's eastern shore, known as the Costa Verde. It enjoys a pleasant Mediterranean climate for much of the year and lies around twenty kilometres south of Bastia, making it a convenient base for exploring the north of the island. The village has a sandy beach popular for swimming and watersports, along with local shops and a handful of restaurants serving traditional Corsican dishes. Folelli sits within the Casinca micro-region, known for its clementine groves and vineyards, which can be seen on the surrounding hillsides. Walkers can head inland to explore hilltop villages such as Penta-di-Casinca or Vescovato, which showcase traditional Corsican architecture and offer views over the Tyrrhenian Sea. The coastline also invites further exploration, whether south towards Moriani-Plage or north towards Cap Corse. Altogether, Folelli offers a well-balanced starting point for combining beach time, countryside scenery and a taste of Corsican heritage.
