Marina di Mancaversa

Marina di Mancaversa is a small coastal locality in the Salento area of Puglia, forming part of the municipality of Taviano and lying on the Ionian coast close to Gallipoli and Torre San Giovanni. This holiday village has grown up along a stretch of coastline that alternates between fine sandy beaches and small rocky coves, fronting the clear, translucent waters typical of this part of Salento. The surrounding landscape retains its Mediterranean character, with pines and scrubland behind the mostly villa-style holiday homes. The area is popular for swimming, snorkelling and coastal walks, and offers a quieter alternative to some of the busier resorts nearby.
