Marina di Pescoluse

Marina di Pescoluse is a seaside resort in the Salento area, within the province of Lecce in Puglia, locally nicknamed the 'Maldives of Salento' thanks to its fine white sand and shallow turquoise waters. The coastline stretches for several kilometres of sandy beaches backed by dunes and pine woods, offering a well-preserved natural setting that contrasts with the rockier coastline found elsewhere in Salento. The area features numerous beach clubs with sunbeds and parasols, alongside stretches of free public beach. The atmosphere is family-friendly and summery, with a modest nightlife scene centred around a handful of seafront bars and restaurants. Local cuisine focuses on seafood, fresh pasta and Salento specialities such as puccia bread and raw shellfish. Marina di Pescoluse makes a convenient base for exploring other towns in southern Salento, including Torre Vado and Santa Maria di Leuca, as well as for discovering the coastal scenery typical of this part of Puglia, with its mix of cliffs, coves and sandy stretches.
