Morciano di Leuca

Morciano di Leuca is a small settlement forming part of the municipality of Salve, in the province of Lecce, at the southern tip of Puglia, not far from Capo di Leuca. The village lies just a few kilometres from the Ionian coast, known for its pale sandy beaches and turquoise waters, particularly around Pescoluse and Marina di Salve, often likened to Caribbean scenery. The surrounding countryside is typical of the Salento area, dotted with centuries-old olive groves, dry-stone walls and traditional small farms. The historic centre retains simple architecture built from local stone, characteristic of rural towns in the region.
