Camps-Saint-Mathurin-Léobazel

Camps-Saint-Mathurin-Léobazel is a rural village in the Corrèze department of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, set within the Xaintrie natural region near the Dordogne gorges. The parish borders the reservoir of the Chastang dam, one of several hydroelectric structures along this stretch of the river, providing opportunities for water sports and fishing. The landscape is one of rolling hills, wooded plateaux and steep-sided valleys typical of this part of the Massif Central, with extensive chestnut woods and mixed forest.
