Camlez

Camlez is a small rural commune in the Côtes-d'Armor department, located in the Trégor area of northern Brittany, close to Tréguier and just a few kilometres from the coast. This part of northern Brittany is characterised by a gently rolling landscape of farmland, woods and small streams, typical of the Trégor hinterland. The commune offers a peaceful, green setting, ideal for countryside stays and exploring rural Brittany at a relaxed pace. Its location provides easy access to the Pink Granite Coast, renowned for its striking rock formations, as well as to nearby towns such as Tréguier, known for its cathedral and marina, and Lannion, the region's largest town. The temperate oceanic climate of northern Brittany brings mild summers and gentle winters, well suited to outdoor pursuits such as walking, cycling, exploring local heritage and browsing regional markets. Camlez therefore makes a quiet base from which to discover the Trégor, combining unspoilt countryside with a dramatic coastline, away from the busier seaside resorts further along the coast.
