Baia Sardinia

Baia Sardinia is a seaside resort in north-eastern Sardinia, part of the municipality of Arzachena and located within the Costa Smeralda, one of Italy's most renowned coastal areas. It sits along a sheltered bay where pale sandy beaches alternate with granite rock formations typical of this stretch of coastline. The turquoise, shallow waters make it a popular spot for swimming and watersports such as sailing, kayaking and diving. The village itself is home to shops, restaurants and venues that give the area a lively evening atmosphere during summer, with Baia Sardinia known for a somewhat busier nightlife than other resorts along the coast. Nearby coastal paths lead to quieter coves, with views towards the islands of the La Maddalena archipelago. The Mediterranean climate brings hot, dry summers, ideal for beach holidays from June to September. Its proximity to Porto Cervo and Olbia, home to the region's main airport, makes this part of Sardinia easily accessible, and it remains popular for its unspoilt natural surroundings and its mix of family-friendly and more animated areas.
