Arradon

Arradon is a commune in the Morbihan department, located on a peninsula within the Gulf of Morbihan, just a few kilometres from Vannes. Its indented coastline offers numerous viewpoints over the gulf's islands, particularly from the Pointe d'Arradon and the coastal footpath that runs along the shore, popular for walking and cycling. The small harbour of Rogedas and its adjoining beach make for a pleasant stroll, with open views across the archipelago. The town retains a residential, family-friendly character, with a village centre offering local shops and a market. Water-based activities feature prominently, with sailing, paddleboarding and kayaking allowing visitors to explore the gulf, known for its shifting currents and tidal landscapes. The proximity of Vannes, roughly five kilometres away, means the old town, ramparts and shops are within easy reach while staying somewhere quieter.
