Demi Quartier

Demi Quartier is a small commune in Haute-Savoie, within the Mont Blanc massif, bordering Megève and sharing its ski area and mountain atmosphere. Sitting at an altitude of around 1,000 metres, it offers a typical alpine setting, with traditional chalets and open views over the surrounding peaks, including the Mont Blanc range. Its close proximity to Megève provides easy access to the Évasion Mont-Blanc ski slopes in winter, as well as numerous hiking and mountain biking trails in summer. The village retains a quiet, rural character, contrasting with the livelier tourist atmosphere of Megève, while still benefiting from its neighbour's amenities, including shops, restaurants and cultural activities. The Val d'Arly area, in which Demi Quartier is located, is known for its Savoyard agricultural heritage, with mountain pastures, farms and local cheese production such as reblochon. The mountain climate brings snowy winters ideal for winter sports and mild summers well suited to outdoor pursuits. Demi Quartier therefore makes a peaceful base for exploring the French Alps, combining unspoilt nature with quick access to Megève's tourist infrastructure.
