Ovronnaz

Ovronnaz is a mountain resort in the canton of Valais, Switzerland, situated at around 1,400 metres above sea level on a sunny plateau overlooking the Rhône valley. The resort is particularly known for its thermal baths, fed by a mineral water source, which draw visitors throughout the year for relaxation and wellness treatments. The mountainous setting offers direct access to a modestly sized ski area, well suited to families and beginner to intermediate skiers, as well as numerous hiking trails in summer, including routes towards the surrounding alpine pastures and the Muverans massif. The view over the Valais peaks and the Rhône valley is one of the site's key scenic features. Ovronnaz retains the character of an authentic mountain village, with traditional chalets and a quiet atmosphere, set apart from the hustle of larger alpine resorts.
